It's party time with the Axolotl! Let's celebrate this amazing little amphibian, while practicing reading skills along the way. Join a class OR set up your own private party (minimum 5 up to 10 students). Printable decorations, favors and prizes! 

VALUE ADDED BONUS- Included in the price of the class, you will receive your own party favors, a printable "Axolotl Bingo Game", including 5 bingo cards, calling cards and axolotl game tokens so that your learners can play this game as much as they wish after class.  This is the very game which we will be playing in class. Also, a printable axolotl banner and posters will be offered if you would like to decorate your space. Finally, printable prizes will be available.

This is a fun and interactive class.  Learners will be encouraged, but not forced, to read the facts presented on the bingo card aloud and also ask questions about the axolotl or offer what they already know.  However, if a student is a bit shy, not to worry, we can read along together, and they are free to ask questions only when ready to do so. I want the students to feel comfortable in my class:)

The bingo facts are all about the axolotl, meaning that the spaces on each bingo card are all filled with interesting facts about the Axolotl Salamander. I may add other bingo classes in the future, depending on student interest.

Here is how the class will proceed:

1-  Photos of the Axolotl Salamander will be shared and the learners will be invited to share what they may already know about the axolotl.

2-  Bingo game directions will be explained.  (PARENTS MUST PRINT ALL 5 bingo cards before class starts in order for their child to participate. Cards will be assigned during class time. Game tokens are optional to print. For a private party, more cards will be made available)

3- Each space on the bingo card will have a fun fact about the axolotl.  It is written in a complete sentence format, with proper grammar.  Some of the sentences also contain an interesting vocabulary word, which we will discuss.  For each fact, I will project the sentence onscreen, and we will read the sentence together.  The learners will look at their cards for the same interesting fact, and mark their cards if they have it.  Each space on the card is numbered for additional reader support. We will proceed until someone gets a "bingo".  (A bingo is when 4 spaces are marked in a row- horizontal, vertical or diagonal.)

4- We will be playing several games of bingo, mixing short video clips, and sharing fun axolotl facts in between the games. 

Students should be at least at a beginning reading level so that they can match the sentence I am reading with the one on their bingo card. As mentioned before, however, the spaces on the bingo card are numbered so beginning readers can find it easily.

Finally, this is a game, so there will be PRIZES! YAY!  (in printable form, available after class is over)

WOULD YOU LIKE TO SET UP YOUR OWN PRIVATE PARTY? HERE IS WHAT YOU NEED TO DO: (MINIMUM 5 STUDENTS UP TO 10 TOTAL)
1.   Request a different class time. Let me know how many party-goers there will be.
2.  Get approval from me that the time and day works with my schedule.
3.  Buy gift enrollments for each learner in your party.
4.  Get a special party link from me, that you will need to get access to the party on the party date.
5.  Print bingo cards, game tokens, posters, banner, and prizes from the classroom page.
6.  That is it!
