Students will learn with basic financial tools and knowledge that will enable them to build the lives they envision. The course will cover budgeting, savings and checking accounts, credit cards and credit scores, insurance, and investing. They will learn the reasons for saving for the future and see real-life examples of why being financially literate is one of the most valuable skills in their life. Students will see first-hand real-life examples and apply them right away in their everyday lives.
I am a full-time teacher with 14 years of experience teaching this course with a professional certification in teaching Social Studies Education. I have a Master's degree in special education. I am a Gold Star teacher in a Blue Star school for teaching W!se personal finance. My classes win awards for being one of the top 100 schools for personal finance every year.
