Take this engaging and interactive banking and savings class with a 14-year veteran history teacher with a professional certification in teaching Social Studies Education. I have a Master's degree in special education. I am a Gold Star teacher in a Blue Star school for teaching W!se personal finance. My classes win awards for being one of the top 100 schools in the country for personal finance every year.

▬▬▬▬▬▬  How will the class be taught?▬▬▬▬▬▬  
-Class is taught live with me for 60 minutes
-This banking and savings lesson will include real-life examples, video, an interactive application activity, and an optional extension activity.
-They will be able to interact with me during the entire lesson with the games, lessons, and activities. They will play Kahoot or Socrative game to review important concepts at the end of each lesson! Students love the review game to go over key concepts with budgeting. 
- My teaching style is engaging and interactive. I  will pause every few minutes and engage students with teacher-led questions and student-generated questions. It is much more of a back and forth conversation about budgeting. 
-This will be one of the fastest, interactive, and most useful class you will ever take with an Award-winning personal finance teacher! 
-No prior background knowledge is needed. 

The class will pay for itself quickly if you follow all my tips and life advice to make you more financially responsible!

Learning Goals

Students will learn with basic financial tools and knowledge that will enable them to build the lives they envision. The course will cover the reasons for saving for the future, differences between different types of banking and checking accounts, compound interest, and why its important. Students will see first-hand real-life examples about how to start saving right away in their everyday lives.
