Description
Class Experience
In this class, we will practice fun yoga poses and techniques incorporating many elements of the fall season, such as pumpkins, harvesting crops, tree leaves changing colors, Halloween, and Thanksgiving. We will move through themed yogic breathing, warm up sun salutations, autumn-inspired yoga poses, a coordinating yoga activity, cool down poses, an age-appropriate meditation, and a period of relaxation. - A yoga mat or similar soft, nonslip flooring on which to practice. - Suitable room to move arms and legs freely. - Comfortable clothing with bare feet or socks with grips.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Yoga is a wonderfully beneficial activity for the mind and body. Following class, students may choose to continue practicing the poses and techniques on their own; in that case, please be sure to have proper adult supervision.
