Description
Class Experience
Students will learn to draw items using basic shapes and lines. We will practice using oil pastels for outlines and blending. Watercolor paints will be used to create the watercolor resist technique in the completed artwork.
There will be no homework. Students can work more on the art after class on their own if they wish.
Students will need: Watercolor paper, or another paper thick enough to paint on Oil pastels Watercolor paints Paint brushes, paper towel, and a cup of water.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
There is no formal assessment or grades. Students will be encouraged to explore their creativity. I will give feedback and help along the way during the art making process.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
