Automotive - The Big Picture of Car Movement (Age 11-14)

This 40 minute One-Time Class is designed for beginners with zero to little car knowledge. Students will learn the big picture on how an automobile at rest can be started and driven to its destination. In a classroom setting, we will walk through how exactly energy gets transferred from one component to the next until we have a vehicle that is moving from point A to point B. This will give students a solid foundation to build upon as they continue to learn about cars in more detail with me (through my other classes) or elsewhere.

As we learn how to identify the different components and what they are called, student will have plenty of time throughout class to ask questions. We will also have a review time at the end of class for students to recall what they have learned.
