This one-time theatre audition prep session provides focused, personalized feedback on your child's chosen monologues, designed to elevate their performance and boost confidence. We will delve into a detailed script analysis, concentrating on character motivations, objectives, and subtext while also refining vocal delivery for clarity, projection, and emotional resonance. Physical presence and stage awareness will be addressed, helping your child command attention and connect with the audition panel. The session structure is highly interactive, beginning with a brief discussion of goals and experience, followed by direct work on the monologue(s) with real-time feedback and guidance, and concluding with a summary of key takeaways. Utilizing a hands-on approach, I combine demonstrations, guided exercises, and constructive critique in a supportive and encouraging environment. My teaching style is patient and focused on individual growth, prioritizing clear instruction and creative exploration. Students will receive direct, one-on-one feedback, engage in practical exercises, participate in in-depth discussions, and receive specific, actionable critiques to refine their performance, ensuring they leave with a significantly improved understanding of their monologue and how to deliver a compelling audition.
