Class Experience

Auditioning can be frightening and difficult if you aren't sure what to do. Fear not! You have a guide through this process with experience on both sides of the table! Whether it's film and tv or theatre, I will teach you to have self-confidence, learn to play and grow even in an audition, and always be proud that you did your best work. So many parts of the process are out of your control, so let us get a firm grip on the parts that are, and join me to master the unique skill that is auditioning! No previous acting experience or theatre knowledge is required, but any experience a student comes with is a benefit. I teach in an encouraging and growth-oriented manner so that the student is always driven to take the next step, no matter how small, and to get excited about the subject. And as the student grows in their love of performance, I will encourage them to explore opportunities in their own communities to make new friends and try their skills!
Learning Goals
They will learn confidence, strength, technique, and the proper etiquette to make the best impression and to turn auditioning into a manageable and growth-oriented process.

GREETINGS!

My name is Michael Judge Brislin; you can call me Teacher Mike, or Michael, but Mike is my favorite 😊

I started acting around 6 years old, pretending to be the Cat in the Hat while singing and dancing — and it’s amazing how much I’m still like that now!

🎭 I tailor every lesson to the learners who
attend, so that they will get whatever
they need to reach their next milestone.
🎭 I always try to discover what stories
inspire my students, since our work on
         becoming real characters involves
         connecting to our real emotions!

I am so excited to use my abilities to encourage your learners in their performance journey. I will help them build their confidence, creativity, and emotional connection & have FUN while doing it!

I can't wait to get to know you & to make amazing performances together!

Feel free to send me a message with any questions or comments. I’ll see you in the classroom! 🤗
