This class is for piano students who are beginners! This could be a student’s first time in a piano class, or if they’ve had some lessons and would like some review. Even if a student has had no music lessons before, they can succeed in this class! Students must have their own copy of this book for the class “My First Piano Adventures Christmas Book A”. It can be found at your local music retailer, or here: https://www.amazon.com/First-Piano-Adventure-Christmas-Pre-Reading/dp/1616776250/ref=sr_1_2?crid=N23QQ6YCJE8I&dchild=1&keywords=my+first+piano+adventures+christmas+book+a&qid=1605379518&sprefix=My+first+piano+adventures+%2Caps%2C257&sr=8-2 Additionally, if parents like, they may cover over or replace the original titles in the book to match the titles I have used to meet the secular course criteria. Again, we will only be learning the tunes, not the words or the meaning of the songs.
No live meetings, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parents are probably aware that many popular Christmas songs have a Christian lyrics. ln this course, some tunes may have a Christian title. We will not be discussing the meaning behind the Christian message, just learning to play the popular songs. : )
