Description

Class Experience

Students will learn the basics of STEAM and why it matters. Through the daily challenges, students will learn the following concepts: 
Physics
Aerodynamics
Force
Structures
Water density
There will not be any homework for this camp.
Worksheets and "lab" sheets will be uploaded into the classroom as needed for families to print. Supplies needed for class challenges are: 2-4 Balloons Straws craft or Popsicle sticks Tape One plastic cup Various items (parent-approved) from around the house
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Leaner progress is assessed through discussion and their ability to use the concepts taught to build and create their STEAM pieces. 
2 hours 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
