During this summer camp, students will put their STEAM skills to the test. Each day of class will include a new STEAM challenge that will explore one area of science. Short videos will used during class to emphasis a better understanding of each concept being introduced. There will be a discussion about each concept and what the goal of the daily challenge is. Students will learn the basics of STEAM and why it matters. Through the daily challenges, students will learn the following concepts: Physics Aerodynamics Force Structures Water density
Worksheets and "lab" sheets will be uploaded into the classroom as needed for families to print. Supplies needed for class challenges are: 2-4 Balloons Straws craft or Popsicle sticks Tape One plastic cup Various items (parent-approved) from around the house
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
