Asynchronous Violin Coaching
In this online class, students will record a video of music they are working on and I will reply with a 5-10 minute video message with feedback and a written practice plan. Great for orchestra and seating auditions!

I will provide video feedback in addition to a written practice plan, that includes a warmup, and specific goals for the main music the student is working on. This plan will include time suggestions for each of my recommendations. I will be available to answer questions about the recommendations over the Outschool conversations page.Class Experience
Beginner - Advanced Level
Students will learn how to improve their accuracy, sound, tuning, posture, musicality, through the feedback. They will also learn how to practice to achieve their musical goals. I will ask for a video of the student playing music that they want feedback on in addition to a picture of the music, if it's not widely available. In order for me to provide the best feedback, I should be able to see their violin and bow along with their hands and arms in the video. I will provide a video with feedback within 48 hours of receiving the student video and a written practice plan. If the student has an audition that they want to hear an example video of, please let me know and I can provide the video first with a recording and advice. If you have questions about the plan or the feedback, I will be available to communicate about it for the whole week that you have signed up for. It will generally take about 15 minutes to prepare and record a video to send in, after that the timing of the practice plan I suggest will be based on the general level. It should take between 20min-1.5hours to review.

After submitting your about 2-6 minute video, you will receive a practice plan with 1-3 main goals for how to bring your violin playing to the next level. There will be a warmup, practice plan and ideas of further things to practice. Other Details
Pre-Requisites
I would recommend at least 3 months of lessons or school orchestra experience for this coaching to be useful.
Supply List
Learners will need their violin, music to perform and a way to record themselves playing.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
