Astrophysics 101: What Are Supermassive Black Holes?
One time class students will learn about the process behind Supermassive Black Hole formation. Students will learn about the journey that a heavy star takes when it goes 'supernovae' to eventually form into a supermassive black hole.

Description
Class Experience
Students will understand what a supermassive black hole is, how it is formed and understand how we know that they exist.
I have a masters degree in Astrophysics as well as being trained as a Physics specialist teacher.
45 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
We will refer to an X-ray image of a black hole and watch a video on Supermassive Black hole formation
