Class Experience

In this class students will learn about the different constellations. They will then recreate them using marshmallows and toothpicks. Students will receive resources to use free stargazing apps. Students will be encouraged to take a walk with their family at night and see how many constellations they can find.

Please note: I I understand that with COVID and lockdown restrictions in many areas obtaining the mini marshmallows and toothpicks may be impossible for some. If this is the case for your learner and they would still like to take the class please let me know and I can help find an alterative if you need one. I have had some students use gummy candy, toothpaste, clay, or just draw each constellation.

Students do not need any prior knowledge constellations to participate in this class.

Please Note: Siblings and Co-Learners must be enrolled to attend and participate in class.

*This class will still be taught with only one learner. Parents will be notified if no other learners have enrolled 24 hours prior to class, confirming that their learner is comfortable with a one on one class. Cancelation due to low enrollment is at the discretion of the parent only. I, the teacher, will not cancel the class due to low enrollment. *
Learning Goals
