Are you ready to explore the Universe? Let's hop in our rocket and zoom out into the great unknown! We'll learn about galaxies, stars, planets and more! Each week we'll focus on a different topic and learn interesting facts. For instance, did you know there are vampire, cannibal, and even zombie stars in space? Everyone knows about black holes, but did you know scientists believe there might be white holes lurking as well? We'll explore exoplanets, planets outside of our solar system, as well...

Week 1: None Week 2: Handout, ziploc bag, socks, marshmallows, and a dried piece of spaghetti Week 3: Black paper, different color paints, and handout Week 4: Marshmallows, toothpicks, and handout Week 5: None Week 6: None Week 7: Flashlight, 1 small object (rock, marble, etc.), paint, stir stick, rocks (3-4), and aluminum foil. Week 8: Play doh-blue, green, white, red, yellow, brown, purple is preferable (If you don't have these colors that's fine. Use what you have.), handout, and scissors Week 9: Black paper, white paper, scissors, and chalk Week 10: Tupperware container which you'll fill with flour (1-2 inches thick) and objects to drop in it (marbles, golf balls, rocks, etc.) Week 11: White paper, paint (gray, white, and yellow), aluminum foil, q-tips, measuring cup (1/2 cup), and pencil Week 12: Black paper, handout, , scissors, glue, paint (red, orange, black, and yellow), saran wrap (we're going to use this to spread the paint), and a paint brush (to add additional features). Week 13: Black or blue paper and chalk Week 14: White paper and coloring utensils Week 15: Black or blue paper and chalk Week 16: None
