Did you know that astronauts have to wear DIAPERS? Yes, it’s true! Did you also know that they eat spirulina, which is a superfood derived from Seaweed. Eww! In this one time class your astronaut in training will learn how astronauts exercise, what they eat, what they wear on a space walk and more importantly… where do they go to the bathroom? We will tour the galaxy in our spaceship and fly by Mars on our way to the asteroid belt. Then, we will see the giant storm on Jupiter, bypass...

I have a Bachelor of Science degree and I am a veteran homeschool mom. I teach elementary level science courses and Preschool, Kindergarten classes on Outschool as well.
1 file available upon enrollmentSupplies: We will be making a space helmet. An empty tissue box can make a helmet big enough for a stuffed animal. If you have a box that would fit around your child’s head that would be ideal. You could use a brown paper bag up from the grocery store as well. We will also be using scissors to cut a hole in the box for the visor. Please help your child to this. Square Tissue Box (with the cut out for the tissues) or paper gift bag or brown paper bag. 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
You may need to help them cut out an oval for the face or help them glue.
