Class experience
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to blast off into outer space? In this fun and interactive class, students will have the opportunity to learn about and explore the planets, sun, moon and stars. We will look at pictures of each planet and talk about the size, colour, shape, climate and proximity to the sun. Students will get to compare and contrast each planet and talk about their own observations and discoveries. We will also talk about some of the challenges of space travel...
Students will learn: • What planets make up our solar system • How to identify the planets based on size, colour, proximity to the sun, and other identifying features • The importance of our sun in the solar system • Why earth is the only planet in our solar system that humans can live on • Fun facts about each planet
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
