In this interactive virtual experience, we will use an external website to go on a virtual expedition. I'll lead the group through the virtual adventure and narrate the tour which will include an introduction on the solar system. I encourage students to ask questions along the way. We will explore the solar system and even a bit of science all while virtually touring spectacular views of outer space. Students will learn about the solar system along with smaller bodies in the form of asteroids, meteoroids and comets. During this course students will also learn about the Sun, Kuiper Belt and the Oort Cloud. The following ways of learning styles will be included: visual, verbal, logical and social.
Learning Goals
Students will learn a variety of facts about space. The intent is to spark each students interest in doing their own further research and pursue the study of astronomy.

I am a proud military wife and a dedicated homeschooling mother of two wonderful children. My love for teaching is shaped by living across three continents and my experiences traveling in various states across the United States. These adventures have inspired me to bring a unique and personalized approach to education, blending real-world knowledge with hands-on learning.
Born in the Philippines and raised primarily in the United States, I have over 12 years of experience in higher education and teaching. My academic background is rooted in computer programming, but my curiosity has led me to study a variety of fields, including photography, astronomy, nutrition, and business.
