In this course students will learn simple tips and tools to help them know what to say in specific day to day situations. They will learn the words to handle almost any situation

This is a teacher-lead class . The class atmosphere will be relaxed and engaging. My intention is for students to feel at ease, comfortable, and willing to participate in an open discussion. Each student will have the opportunity to share their thoughts and feelings on the assertiveness techniques discussed. Students will be encouraged to participate in this teacher-lead class through questions and comments only if they feel comfortable in doing so. Teacher expertise and credentials
I’m thrilled to work with students and inspire them to make positive changes that will help them grow as individuals. I hold a B.A. in Speech Communications and a minor in Psychology. For the last ten years I have tutored children, teens, and have also taught classes at college level.
In addition, I have offered personal growth workshops to teens that resulted in tremendous success. Some of the most popular workshops I have taught are in the
area of self-confidence, reducing anxiety, happiness, and communication skills.
I have also volunteered in non profit organizations that provide after school enrichment programs for elementary and middle school children.
I look forward to the opportunity to partner with you in your teen’s success.
Thank you.
