This American Sign Language class focuses on one of kiddos' favorites: superheroes! Learn American Sign Language in a fun, themed-based format. Explore the name signs for many Marvel and DC superheroes and what makes them unique. Learn more vocabulary are you sign the song "I'm a Superhero". Students need no prior experience or knowledge. Experience ASL vocabulary through detailed explanations of hand signs and repetition. This is one of my favorite ASL classes! Come sign with me!

Learning Needs
ASL helps students with multiple learning needs by reinforcing vocabulary. Research has shown incorporating sign language with spoken language improves comprehension, expression, and communication for special education learners.

I have taught Little Signers ASL to preschool and elementary students over the past 10 years. I have a Masters in Education with a certification in K-6th, biology, and earth science. I have a Bachelors of Science in Biology with an Environmental Studies minor. I am a former public school teacher of 5 yrs and homeschool teacher of 10 yrs. I completed ASL I, II, III, & V in college and interpret for a Deaf family in church. I am also a 200 hr certified Yoga Teacher with additional certifications in Kids Yoga, Mommy Me Yoga, and Prenatal Yoga.
