ASL Sign Language for Kids- FLEX

During this on going class students will be taught basic sign language skills. The best part is you get to do this when it is convenient for you!

How are we going to participate?
Each lesson will be posted each week from me on Mondays in the Outschool classroom. 
After the class is done students can record themselves practicing the signs for the week and submitting a video before the next class. 
When you post the video I can make comments and send you a personalized video if you had trouble with a sign or had questions.
After week 2, week 3, week 4 and week 5 I will post a review activity for students to remember all of the signs we have learned so far! I will post different signs and students can comment on which sign they think it is. Or I will say the word and students can upload videos of themselves showing the sign that makes the word! These will be our discussion questions for during the week to help us keep practicing for a new video is posted.
In any of my classes please ask questions or share your thinking along the way. I always love hearing what you all have to say! If you wanted something included or curious about ask that too and I can always try to include it in a video. 

Week 1- Colors- Learn how to sign 12 different color words will be taught from orange, white, red, pink, blue and more!

Week 2 - People in your family- Learn to sign people in your family- mom, dad, sister, brother, grandpa, grandma, uncle, aunt. 

Week 3 - Farm Animals- Learn to sign some of your favorite animals like cat, dog, cow, horse, sheep, pig, duck and more!

Week 4 - Food- Learn to sign some of your favorite foods- like milk, cookies, spaghetti, pizza, chicken and more! 

Week 5 - Shapes- Learn how to sign 10 different shapes from circle to square and even heart!

Week 6 - Days of the Week- Learn how to sign all the days of the week!
