Many people are intrigued by ASL (American Sign Language). This ongoing class will focus on teaching sign language vocabulary to Beginners. Each week will include a specific and limited theme. In the first half of the class, I will introduce and explain the sign vocabulary and the concept and/or origin behind the sign. Students will learn the associated sign language vocabulary for the chosen them of the week. Students will be instructed on hand placement and movement to correctly convey the sign and have an opportunity to use it.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
