Learning opposites is a great way to learn American Sign Language. I'll say and show the sign for a word. Guess the opposite word, and learn its sign. Learn ASL vocabulary while increasing student retention of knowledge since it is kinesthetic learning. Students need no prior experience or knowledge. Experience ASL vocabulary through detailed explanations of hand signs and repetition. Class is 15 minutes. Come sign with me!

Learning Needs
ASL helps students with multiple learning needs by reinforcing vocabulary. Research has shown incorporating sign language with spoken language improves comprehension, expression, and communication for special education learners.

I have taught Little Signers ASL to preschool and elementary students over the past 10 years. I have a Masters in Education with a certification in K-6th, biology, and earth science. I have a Bachelors of Science in Biology with an Environmental Studies minor. I am a former public school teacher of 5 yrs and homeschool teacher of 10 yrs. I completed ASL I, II, III, & V in college and interpret for a Deaf family in church. I am also a 200 hr certified Yoga Teacher with additional certifications in Kids Yoga, Mommy Me Yoga, and Prenatal Yoga. I've incorporated ASL in my Baby Toddler Me Yoga, Kids Yoga, Little Signers, and Baby Connections classes. In addition to teaching on Outschool, I teach a weekly live online Little Signers class.
