Class Experience
To increase ASL vocabulary through song and peer interaction.
I have been teaching ASL in-person to students of all ages for more than 25 years, and in online classrooms for more than 2 years. I have received recognition and awards for Teaching ASL by the Association of American Educators Foundation, as well as earning the title of “ASL Teacher of the Year” from Beach Cities Unified District, 1997-1999, 2001 and 2003.
Students should arrive to class with printouts of all attachments from the classroom message board, a notebook and pen/pencil.
40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
