Description
Class Experience
Topics covered include "winter" signs, holidays, and signs related to these holidays: Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, New Years, and any others requested by students in class. Example signs for the above holidays include: snow, winter, Santa, menorah, kinara, fireworks, tree, celebrate, and many more!
I have taken four semesters of American Sign Language at the College level in addition to learning more signs on my own and increasing my ASL knowledge.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
3 hours per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
We cover signs from several different winter holidays--while your learner may not celebrate a holiday, others do, and this class will be a great way for them to communicate with others who may have different beliefs than them!
