ASL for Beginners - Private Tutoring 1-On-1

Welcome to ASL for Beginners - Private Tutoring!

In this course, your student will engage in a private 1-on-1 lesson that covers vocabulary signs, conversation, and ASL grammar.

Week 1: Alphabet and Numbers 1-25
Week 2: Animals and Colors
Week 3: Food and Money
Week 4: Time, Question Words, Grammar
Week 5: Family, Continue Grammar
Week 6: Emotions
Week 7: Clothes, Accessories, Patterns
Week 8: Body Parts and Emergency Signs
Week 9: Locations and Prepositions
Week 10: Conversation Starters

In each lesson, we will also practice basic conversation and expand on our signing each week. Every lesson is recorded and this will be available to you to re-watch throughout the week for additional practice and support. In addition, if you have any questions or concerns, we will stay closely in contact to make sure the student's needs are all being met.

The class will be 30 minutes long and contain learning an approximate 20-25 vocabulary signs per lesson. If the student needs to go faster or slower, please communicate with me so that we can make sure your student is learning to the best of their ability. I do require the student's camera to be on at all times so that we can sign and communicate to one another in ASL.

*If student cannot make it to class, please let me know in advance. However, I cannot guarantee a make-up lesson so please try to attend every lesson. 

*If the student does not show up to class, I will wait 10 minutes and then consider the class canceled with no refund or rescheduling available.
