ASL for beginners is an exciting and interactive class for children who want to learn Sign Language!

During this course children will learn the following signs:

- The students will also work on conversational skills, grammar, classifiers, and translation practice.

We will learn through activities, stories, demonstration, and lots of practice! This will help the children learn to recognize signs as well as use ASL!

How the course works:
Every Sunday I will post the class recording; the students can watch the recording at their convenience throughout the week.
Every Friday I will post our class discussion questions to encourage student involvement.
I will also be available every day to answer questions and support the students through their progress of learning ASL.

If your student already knows 150 signs or more, or has taken my previous course, then this is the class for them! If not, then part 1, Learn to Sign in 10 Weeks will be your first step. I am looking forward to learning, laughing, and signing with your children soon!!

This course will be fun, engaging, and educational. I am looking forward to teaching your students soon!!

I have been fluent in ASL for 10 years and have been a translator for many events and conferences. I have also taught ASL to students ages 4-20 in many courses over the years. I teach grammar, classifiers, vocabulary, and translations. I have my double certificate in ASL from International Open Academy and am heavily involved in the Deaf community in my area. I love teaching ASL! I am excited to expand my knowledge to your children through this course!
