This course will be tons of fun!!!

If your student already knows 500 signs (or more) and is familiar ASL grammar and classifiers, or has taken my previous courses, then this is the class for them! If not, then Part 1 will be a good starting point, this course is called: Learn to Sign in 10 Classes. I am looking forward to learning, laughing, and signing with your children soon!!

Class policy: Each student must have a camera on during this so that I can help them with the correct hand-forms and locations, this is an essential part of learning in this course. Student's will also be engaging and practicing their ASL signs with conversations and their hands must be seen for this. If the student does not want their face seen, they may angle the camera to only show their hands.

I have been fluent in ASL for 18 years and have been a translator for many events and conferences. I have also taught ASL to students ages 4-20 in many courses over the years. I teach grammar, classifiers, vocabulary, and translations. I have my double certificate in ASL from International Open Academy and am heavily involved in the Deaf community in my area. I love teaching ASL! I am excited to expand my knowledge to your children through this course!
