This class is designed specifically for the young learners ages 5-7 yrs old. It is a very informal, learner focused format in which approximately 100 ASL signs will be practiced in addition to learning A, B, C's and numbers to 10. Each class will review signs already introduced and a new category of signs that are appropriate for this age group will be explored. Bachelor's Degree in Education from Bowling Green State University/ Ohio
I am a retired elementary teacher who was certified in the states of Ohio and Florida. My degree was in Elementary Education and Deaf Education. I have taught Deaf students in preschool and elementary school as well as interpreted for students in elementary school an collage. I have also had the opportunity to interpret in other adult social settings and teach ASL in a small private college.
