ASL helps students with multiple learning needs by reinforcing vocabulary. Research has shown incorporating sign language with spoken language improves comprehension, expression, and communication for special education learners.

I have taught Little Signers ASL to preschool and elementary students over the past 10 years. I have a Masters in Education: Curriculum & Instruction with certifications in K-6th, biology, and earth science. I have a Bachelors of Science in Biology with an Environmental Studies minor. I am a former public school teacher of 5 yrs and homeschool teacher of 10 yrs. I completed ASL I, II, III, & V in college and interpret for a Deaf family in church. I am also a 200 hr certified Yoga Teacher with additional certifications in Kids Yoga, Mommy Me Yoga, and Prenatal Yoga. I also teach ASL in my Kids Yoga, Baby Toddler Me Yoga, and Baby Connections classes. In addition to teaching on Outschool, I teach a weekly live online Little Signers class. Reviews
