Class experience
This class is Part 8 of my ASL Series. Students must be fluent in finger spelling the ASL alphabet in order to keep pace with instruction. It is beneficial for students to have completed Parts 1-7 before enrolling, but is not required. This is the first class of "Intermediate" level. I have been teaching ASL in-person to students of all ages for more than 25 years, and in online classrooms for more than 2 years. I have received recognition and awards for Teaching ASL by the Association of American Educators Foundation, as well as earning the title of “ASL Teacher of the Year” from Beach Cities Unified District, 1997-1999, 2001 and 2003.
