Course Objective: ASL 2 works to expand and build on ASL1 with Mrs. G. You will review vocabulary, grammar, and culturally appropriate uses of ASL through natural, everyday conversational situations. ASL 2 will allow students to work on quick retrieval of vocabulary for a variety of discussions. This course will encourage small and large group activities. Homework Offered
Students will post to discussion boards and master each unit Quizlet. Due before next in-class meet up.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Students will have access to Mrs. G's exclusive Quizlets where parents can view student progress. Unit tests and mastery can be accomplished there. Unit tests on Quizlet can be taken as many times as needed. Optional final exam will be available for credit during in-class session with teacher. Camera is needed.Grades Offered
*Washable nontoxic paint for Sign and Paint. Student will be painting on hand. You can use colored washable markers. *Recreate De'VIA art. You choose your medium. Paper and pen or pencil are fine. Paint on canvas from the dollar store. It's your choice. You also do not have to be an artist. Lets have fun learning!
