Beginner - Intermediate Level
American Sign Language Class for Teens (Ages 13–18) – Ongoing All Year Join our *first-ever year-round* ASL course designed for teens! This 45-week live online class runs from Spring to the following Spring, and Fall sessions with **built-in holidays and teacher breaks** so families can plan ahead—**no charges for scheduled time off**. This program includes **ASL Series 1-4**, taking students from complete beginner to an **intermediate conversational level**, preparing them for our next-level course: **ASL Intermediate to Advanced**. Students learn through engaging live lessons filled with interactive games, themed activities, and real signing practice. You can **start in March or April**, or join the **Fall cohort starting in August**. 📅 **Flexible payment options**: Pay weekly or pay upfront for the full school year. 📝 **Check the syllabus** to see when each ASL level begins (ASL 1–4). 📬 **Waitlist available** if classes are full or you’d like to join later. Lesson 1:
Placement Quiz
This short assessment helps us understand each student's current signing skills, including fingerspelling, vocabulary, receptive understanding, and basic conversation.

Lesson 2:
ASL Alphabet and Introduction Phrases
Students will be able to finger spell the manual alphabet by memory. Students will be able to finger spell their name.

Parental Guidance
Students must have their cameras on for each lesson to ensure they can see each other’s hands while signing.
We will be utilizing external websites like Kahoots, Gimkit and YouTube to enhance the learning experience. These platforms will be employed for interactive games and to manage slide show presentations, flashcards, videos, and quiz games.

Ms.Trina is the founder of ASL Kids Club and has over 20 years of experience teaching and working in school districts with both Deaf and hearing children. This extensive background has allowed her to hand-select each teacher to ensure that students receive top-tier instruction.
Our educators boast impressive credentials and experiences:
- One teacher has spent over two decades as an Educational Interpreter and Tutor, working closely with deaf and hard-of-hearing students. Their passion for sign language is driven by personal experiences with Deaf family members.
- Another teacher is proficient in multiple languages, including English, Spanish, American Sign Language, and Nicaraguan Sign Language. With over 10 years of teaching experience, they have served in various roles such as teaching, assisting, and mentoring students and interpreters.
- We also have a Deaf educator with expertise in speech, lipreading, and sign language. Their patience and kindness have positively impacted many students through their work as a tutor and assistant teacher at the School for the Deaf.
Together, our team is committed to providing an enriching ASL learning experience that accommodates diverse backgrounds and fosters growth.
