Class Experience

Student will learn to observe situations where they wish to speak, share or ask questions.
They will then learn how to use their mind to structure communication by using techniques I learned in professional acting and in my coaching career.
My formal qualifications are Advanced Diploma - Australia PerformingArts Conservatory ( Brisbane Queensland Australia), Diploma of Counselling, Certificate 4 in Training and Assessment and Trauma Inform Care. Additionally a certification in Youth Mental First Aid.

My lived experiences with young learners is vast e.g. 14 years as a cheerleading coach for Mount Alvernia Girls College, 11 running my own Cheerleading and dance club and organising and taking cheerleading teams to complete at competitions in Las Vegas, California and Florida, and here in Australia.
I will offer a few practices as take aways for students to continue to build on to ask questions with confidence.
I will be using a white board to jot down questions and present topics I will also be referring to books I have read from study at performing art school e.g. The 12 Guidepost by Micheal Shurtleff, Brene’ Brown’s Vulnerability and Shame Ted Talks and my own published book “Do You Live On Purpose?”
45 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
