Class Experience

US Grade Kindergarten - 3
Students will learn to talk about verbs in the present tense to ask and answer what someone is doing right now. Previous vocabulary and grammar will also be applied while learning the new content in this class. The vocabulary and grammar will be presented and practiced using games such as matching games along with conversation exchanges between teacher and students and student-student. Videos will be provided between classes to help with review and practice. Writing sheets and videos showing how to write the characters are also provided for those who would like to participate in the writing portion. The schedule is as follows:

Week 1: Common verbs that people do daily
Week 2: Food vocabulary and practice talking about what you are eating.
Week 3: Drinks vocabulary and practice talking about what you are drinking.
Week 4: Combine everything learned and evaluate.

Parental Guidance
Youtube videos will be provided. Students are not required to create a Youtube account or login to view the videos.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
