Ask an Aussie! What Do You Want to Know About Australia? (Jnr Class)

How many people live in Australia? What’s a didgeridoo? Do you play football in Australia?

In this one time class students will learn from true blue Aussie teacher Ms. Allie. Born and raised in Australia, she’s been teaching history, geography, and English to students aged 11-18 for the past 15 years. She’s even worked at one of Australia’s most well known museums, The Australian War Memorial.

This one-time class is directed by student interest and can cover all aspects of Australian geography, history, language, flora and fauna, and culture. Students explore age-appropriate geographical concepts, think critically about history through the analysis of sources, begin to understand how language can evolve and change, and maybe even learn to speak like a fair dinkum Aussie! Most importantly, we’ll have a right laugh (that means fun time).

Once you have enrolled in the class, list your questions in the classroom up to 48 hours before the class starts. This will enable me time to ensure your question can be thoroughly explored during the class. I will try to answer at least one question from each student enrolled.
