In this 4-week FLEX class, we will paint four fun paintings with acrylics including a tropical sunset, a fishing boat, a beach scene, and an ice cream dessert!

Class Experience
Students will paint along with me as I show them step by step how to create four different paintings that are included in this bundle (a tropical sunset, a fishing boat, a beach scene, and an ice cream cone). There are no live meetings for this section. Learners will complete the steps of their painting as they watch the recorded demonstration. The time needed to paint each of these projects will be about 1 hour plus a little time spent setting up and cleaning up. (I will also discuss proper care and cleaning of art supplies.) I encourage all learners to customize their colors and style but they will be able to follow along with me the entire way through the project. Our class will be a safe and positive environment for you to learn and grow as an artist and there will be zero negativity allowed. This is suitable for all skill levels and I will help students create something they can be proud of even if they are beginners. For my more advanced students, I will show you how to Up your art game with tips and tricks to add depth and interest to your painting projects. Students will learn and grow as artists with every class they attend. Learners will interact with each other every week by sharing their artwork in our classroom as either a photo or a 1 minute video clip. Each learner will be responsible for commenting on at least two of their classmates artwork in a positive and encouraging manner. This gives everyone a chance to learn from each other and become better artists.

Supply List
Canvas or thicker paper to paint on. Acrylic or craft paints -. Bring whatever you have and feel free to change yours up! Assorted paintbrushes Paper towel or old rag Water to clean up with Pencil or colored chalk A hairdryer is also helpful but not required.
