In this fall themed arts & crafts class we will be turning a paper plate into a turkey by using sponges as our art tool. During class we will view photos, learn facts about turkeys & discuss our favorite Thanksgiving traditions.
Class Experience
In this fall themed class, we will be turning a paper plate into a turkey. We will color and glue a turkey head, beak and gobble (print out provided, please cut out in advance). Next, we will use sponges and stamp fall colors to represent a colorful fan of feathers. At the beginning of class we will view photos of turkeys and learn some facts. 1 file available upon enrollment-Paper plate -Glue bottle or Glue Stick -2 Googly eyes -Brown, Orange, and Red markers/crayons/colored pencils -Sponge cut into 3 strips -Paint tray or paper plate -Red paint -Orange paint -Yellow paint
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
No parental supervision as long as shapes are cut out before class begins
