Arts & Crafts with Mrs. Morris: Painted Christmas Ornaments!
In this holiday themed arts & crafts class, we will be painting Christmas ornaments as a class. We will draw each ornament with a pencil, paint over our drawing with fun colors and paint designs on each one.

In this Christmas arts & crafts class, we will be painting Christmas ornaments. We will begin by drawing 3-5 circles and strings to show our ornaments are hanging. Students have the option to free hand each circle, or use something like a cup to trace a circle. Then we will paint each ornament and string. Lastly, students can choose any patterns/designs to add to each ornament. At the end of class, there will be the option to share their art with the rest of class. *In my craft/art classes no experience is necessary. I let learners know that each of us are unique artists therefore our art will not look identical. I encourage individual style and that we can embrace our art even if there are imperfections.* **Please feel free to send a date/time request for a class you're interested in. I do schedule out classes in advance but I am flexible to switch that around if there are no conflicting enrollments.**

Supply List
-Paper or canvas -Pencil -Paint brushes (1 or several paint brushes, but we will need brushes that are thinner/smaller for detailed painting) -Black paint -3 to 4 Christmas paint colors (red, green, white, light blue, gold, etc) (learners can choose any colors they'd like, even if it's not "Christmas")

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

I offer both cooking and baking classes that meet every other week. Baking and cooking are two skills that are important to learn, but fun and rewarding as well! To make a meal or baked goods for your family/friends to enjoy is one of the best feelings, and I love to help my learners experience that feeling. It's also a great opportunity to branch out of our comfort zone and try new recipes!
