Arts & Crafts with Mrs. Morris: Outer Space Stamped Planets!
Class experience
In this arts & crafts class, we will be making outer space on our paper. Students will choose a few colors for their planets, and we will pour/mix them on a paper plate or paint tray. We will next take a measuring cup or flat cup and dip it into the paint. On a black piece of paper we will stamp our cups to create a circular, colorful planet. These planets won't be representing a specific planet in our galaxy, so any colors will work. After we've made a few planets, we will splatter paint to...
-Black construction paper (blue or purple will also work) -3 to 5 colors of paint (that can be poured onto a plate) -White paint -Paint brush -Paper plate -3 to 5 measuring cups (or a cup that is completely flat on the bottom) -Paper towel
