I am a fun-loving and energetic teacher with a passion for making learning exciting. I look forward to meeting your children in class and sharing my love of reading with them. In each class, learners will have a fun and engaging time listening to storybooks by Mo Willems. Students will participate in a discussion and take turns answering questions about the story. After the story, we will play together and create some fun arts and crafts projects! We will color, cut, complete mazes, make puppets, and even learn how to draw some of the characters!! Some of the younger learners may need help to use scissors when cutting. This class will be the best Elephant, Piggy, and Pigeon class ever!! I can't wait to have fun with your learners in class! Disclaimer: This class is not endorsed or promoted by the author nor the illustrator.
Learning Goals
Students will practice their listening and reading comprehension skills. They will also practice their fine motor skills by coloring, cutting, and assembling various arts and crafts projects.

Hello! My name is Veronica Rojas and I am excited to meet you! I have had the pleasure of working with children since my early teen years. I have taught gymnastics, music, ESL, Spanish, and elementary/middle/high school grades). I have homeschooled my children for the past 15 years and have also been an online teacher for the past five years. I am a loving and patient educator who believes learning should be FUN! I encourage participation and lots of questions in all of my classes. When I am not teaching, I absolutely love spending time with my husband and children.
