In this arts & crafts class we will cut out and construct this penguin. We will cut out an oval body and hearts for the face, beak, and feet. We will lastly glue googly eyes to finish. We'll learn fun facts about penguins in a slideshow.

Class Experience

In this class we will be making an adorable penguin. As a teacher I love to have my students learn about the craft we are doing. We will have a slideshow to learn fun facts about penguins. For the craft, we will cut out a black oval shape for the body. We will then cut out a white heart shape for the face/body, & orange hearts for the beak and feet. To easily cut out our hearts, we will fold our paper in half and cut out a half shape of a heart. When the paper is unfolded, we will have a full...

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

Parental guidance may be needed for use of scissors, depending on learners skill.
