Each week we will make a new craft. My little secret: Each craft has a science or math undertone! This will be an ongoing class. We will need all types of supplies, but I will post the list for that week's project on Sunday each week. Projects will repeat every 12 weeks so feel free to join in whenever, you will not need to know what we did in previous classes for upcoming ones. Come for one or come for all! If you miss your favorite one remember we will be doing it again about 12 weeks later! Projects will be as follows: Week 1: Rainbow Gravity Spinner Week 2: Paper cup Zoetrope Week 3: Neuron Blow paintings (I will post pictures of neurons so they can be compared) Week 4: Baking Soda and Vinegar Bubbly paintings Week 5: Glowing highlighter art (you will need a black light flashlight or bulb in a lamp for this one) Week6: Op art Illusions Week 7: Protractor Art Week 8: Mandala Drawings Week 9: Rose Window Stained Glass Week of 10: Yin-Yang geometrical art Week of 11: Invisible Ink Week of 12: Juggling Jumbles After Week 12 we will start over at the Rainbow Gravity Spinner

Parental Guidance
We will use scissors, vinegar, baking soda, lemons, paper clips, and more in these projects.
Supply List
Each week I will post the supplies needed for that weeks project. Majority of things will be easily found at home. If not I have notated them above such as the black light.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Hi my name is Cassi Gardei. I am a mother of 4 awesome kids, 1 girl and 3 boys. I was a preschool teacher for 6 years in a brick and mortar school and was a professional driving instructor for the state of California for 4 years until Covid hit. I have been working with Outschool since Covid started and am a paraeducator for my local school district. Working with children is my passion and helping them learn and understand everything in new and exciting ways, especially with music for the younger kiddos. I have a bacheolors degree in Mild to Moderate Special Education.
I am looking forward to working with your kids in many areas. My favorite subjects were math and science growing up but I teach a multitude of classes from cooking to preschool to core subjects and even Kahoot games. Please do not hesitate to ask me anything, anytime, it comes straight to my phone and I will respond as soon as I can.
