In this fun arts and crafts class, we will make a book mark! Next, we will make an envelope for the book mark! Students may put the book mark into the envelope and give it away as a gift if they like! Or, they may keep it and use it while they read! This class is 35 minutes; however, if you need to leave after 30 minutes to attend another class, please let me know!

To make a book mark, we will need a small rectangle. Families are welcome to cut a rectangle of something (card stock, paper, or cereal box) before class for their students to decorate in class. Or, if the students will use scissors in class to cut it during class, please make sure that they know how to use scissors safely. Thank you! Students will decorate their book marks after they cut them out!

To make the envelope, they will need paper and tape. Please make sure that they know how to safely get tape off of a dispenser or rip tape during class, or please give them several pieces of tape to bring to class, thank you! Students will fold and tape paper to make an envelope!, then will decorate it! Students will have fun creating a gift!
