In this one time class, students will learn a variety of folding techniques that they can use to turn a book into a cool paper sculpture. This is a really simple and inexpensive craft, and once your student gets the hang of the folding techniques, he or she will be able to use their imagination to come up with all kinds of designs. I have seen book sculptures turned into animals, angels, Santa, show characters and more. Finished sculptures make great decorations for the home and awesome gifts...
-2-3 hard covered chapter books. I buy my books at the local Dollar Store. -clear tape -crayons, markers, colored pencils, etc. (optional)
