Students may be asked to collect some leaves, small stones, pinecones, or shells etc. for an upcoming class.Class Experience
This ongoing arts and craft class will be perfect for young learners who are bored and looking for something to do. In each fun and interactive art lesson the students will also practice their skills with scissors, painting, gluing and drawing. Students will use colored paper, paint, crayons, glue, etc to create their projects each week. We will do some cutting with scissors, painting and gluing so some adult supervision should be close by. Please remember, Outschool's policy requires that parents will remain off camera while providing supervision. Upon enrollment students will get a general supply list that will cover the majority of the projects. A list of specific supplies needed for each class will be posted to the classroom each week for the upcoming class. In each class the students will have ample opportunity to interact with their classmates and forge friendships as they create fun craft projects together each week. September and October will be Fall themed: Week of Sept. 12th ~ Leaf rubbings Week of Sept. 19th ~ Self portrait with leaves Week of Sept. 26th ~ Leaf art with paints Week of Oct. 3rd ~ Leaf art pic Week of Oct. 10th ~ Fall pic with finger paints Week of Oct. 17th ~ 3D Fall pic Week of Oct. 24th ~ TP Monster Art Week of Oct. 31st ~ Watercolor and paper art November through January will be Winter themed: List to be updated to include Winter classes as the season approaches.

Students will have fun with other kids while they express their creativity and practice their motor skills with art projects.

Hello! I’m Teacher Sheila.
I’ve been teaching both children and adults for over 20 years.
I have a Bachelors Degree in education, I’m TESOL certified and I’m homeschool certified as well.
I am currently teaching English online to children in China. I also offer classes in Common Core subjects Online in the US as well.
I have home schooled all five of my children, 4 have graduated 12th grade and I’m currently working with my last kid who will be starting High School this year.
I am so very passionate about teaching that I even spend much of my free time in volunteer work teaching others. My goal is to instill in my students a lifelong love of learning.
In fact I believe in learning so much that I am always involved continuing education myself, whether it be in foreign language, improving my teaching techniques and even weekly public speaking classes.
I believe I have a LOT to bring to the classroom and I’m EXCITED to begin on this journey in learning with you! I hope to see YOU in my classroom soon!
