Artistic Anatomy (6 Week Course)

Learning about the body, can be lots of fun! In this anatomy course students will receive a fun lesson on specific body parts and then enjoy diagramming the part itself. Students will post their drawings on the Outschool wall and participate in group discussions each week. In addition, fun labs and crafts will be presented to try at home. It is a great introductory course to anatomy.

In this anatomy class, we will not be discussing or drawing the reproductive system. These are basic drawings of the heart, lungs, nasal cavity, hair follicle, etc.

This is a great course for students interested in the medical field. As you know students interested in the pre-med track will need a strong background in science. https://ppao.uga.edu/_resources/documents/Pre-Med-Quick-Facts-January-2022-Updated.pdf is a link I share with potential pre-med majors interested in knowing what type of courses will be required in college. Focus should be on Life Science, Anatomy and Biology if pre-med is the major interest.
