Description
Class Experience
Every week in this unique ongoing class students will learn about artists from around the world and throughout the ages whose birthday is/was celebrated that week. As a class, students will learn about the artist and their work through a short presentation. Wee will learn interesting facts about their life and how their work represents an important element or principle of art. Students will be able to interact throughout the discussion to share their thoughts and anythings they notice about...

Stephanie is a k-12 art educator, artist and arts in healthcare professional with over 25 years experience teaching. As an artist, educator and homeschooling Mom, Stephanie incorporates a cross curricular approach to her teaching tying life experiences, science, history, reading and occasionally math into her art lessons.
Only if students want to continue creating after class, I would love to see completed art works.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parents, each week I will post the required materials by Sunday at 5pm for the upcoming Thursday class. A list of commonly used supplies can be found below. Art class can be messy business some weeks, please ensure your child's work space is covered and they are dressed for mess. For any unusually messy projects, I will notify you along with the weekly supply list.
