Beginner Level
This engaging 8-week course introduces teens to Artificial Intelligence (AI) fundamentals. Students will explore key concepts like machine learning, real-world AI applications, ethical implications, and how AI shapes the future. They’ll also gain hands-on experience designing their own AI solutions. Topics that will be covered include: Introduction to AI and its real-world impact How AI works: machine learning and data processing AI applications in industries like healthcare, transportation, and entertainment Ethical considerations, including fairness, bias, and privacy Future possibilities for AI and related careers Practical experience with AI tools and designing AI projects The course runs over eight weeks, with two live 55-minute weekly sessions. Each session builds on the previous one, combining interactive lectures, engaging activities, and hands-on projects. Weekly topics are clearly outlined in the syllabus, and the final sessions culminate in student presentations of their own AI solutions. I use a dynamic teaching style that incorporates: Interactive lectures with slides and visuals Hands-on activities using beginner-friendly AI tools Group discussions and brainstorming sessions Video demonstrations to visualize complex concepts Creative projects to encourage active learning My teaching style is student-centered and highly interactive. I aim to make complex concepts accessible and exciting by using real-world examples and fostering curiosity. I encourage students to ask questions, share ideas, and think critically about AI’s potential and challenges. Learners will interact with me extensively during live sessions, where I’ll lead discussions, answer questions, and guide activities. In addition, students will collaborate with their peers in group discussions and receive individual feedback on their projects. The course is designed to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where everyone feels encouraged to participate.
