Description
Class Experience
I have taught my peers as a child, then my students in after-school programs and as a K-8 teacher for the last two decades. The fortune teller is one that I also use as a fun tools to help students memorize math and English facts for test prep.
Students will need any type of paper. Computer paper or lined paper will be the easiest to work with. Paper needs to have nice straight edges. Students will need 1-3 pieces depending on if they mess up or want to fold more than 1. (I will allow them to if they are fast and have the time.) For the fortune teller it will be easier if students also have a pair of scissors, however if they do not, I can teach them a way to do it without. Also, a pen or pencil will also be useful for this as well. Paper crane will need thinner paper. Lined paper will be fine for all three. Extras are good, just in case we make a mistake.
2 hours 15 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
