I am a certified and insured yoga teacher registered with the Yoga Alliance (200-hour RYT). I have multiple years of experience teaching art in after school art classes as well as children's yoga.
Most classes, I teach the outline of the drawing and allow learners to color in their own time. Some learners finish quicker than others, and may have time to complete the entire project before class ends. Others may choose to color their drawing outside of class. I encourage everyone to post their finished projects in the classroom!
Students will need a space to practice yoga that is slip & bump-free! A yoga mat is handy, but not required. For the art project students will need: 2 pieces of paper 1 black marker/pencil Something to color with- watercolors, crayons, markers, colored pencils, paints, pastels, chalk, or whatever your heart desires!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Whenever students are performing yoga as part of a fitness routine, please be advised of any potential hazards (including, but not limited to, needing an open workout space, slip proof socks or bare feet, a mat, and proper clothing ). Injuries can occur if not properly supervised, such as slips or bumps.
